A GNIP

Ok, I'm going to bite the bullet. There was a topic that I made a day or so ago that Sylph kindly deleted for me. But I'm just going to bite the bullet and tell you all. And no, I didn't do something horrible and the world isn't going to explode. (Oh darn, I know.)

There's this really gigantically fantastic GNIP (Graffic Novel In-Progress), but I'm not going to say the name of it.

I really would like to share the link, but it's rated Web MA. It should really be rated Web NC-17. The reasons are that it's intensely gory and has somewhat extreme sexual aspects to it. To top it off, it also has somewhat strong aspects of religion and even combinations of the three afformentioned aspects.

But I'm not trying to shoot this strip down or anything, it's one of the best web comic-type things I've ever read. (It also has around 900 pages and is updated three times a week and is still going. It's nowhere close to finishing... well, maybe.) It brings out emotions and points of views you wouldn't have had before reading it, too. I was listening to this really sad chiptune (sort of techno, I'll explain if asked) and while reading part of it, I almost cried. Seriously, it's that good.

So even unbeknownst to Sylph, for those reasons I had the thread deleted. But if you wish to read this giant epic of a tale, PM me. And if I think you really can handle it, I'll send you the link. I just don't want to be responsible for whatever trouble you might get into for reading something like this. (And don't criticize me for saying this, because it really is good.)

cool. i might be interested... but i tend to shy away from religious things, as you may already know.

meh. the thing about people who can truly fit the Mature rating is that they shouldn't care what the rating is, they should just go by their own disgression. i say it sounds a little interesting, but i prefer other things... and it's finals week, i can't afford to read any more than i already am.

Louie: Yeah, I agree with those religously involved... well, anything that is, but this comic (well, technically it's only funny in some parts, so GNIP) goes beyond those religious stereotypes.

Plus, I just pretend it's just a story and not beliefs. I actually don't know if the author believes in the things in the story... especially because he presents both sides so well. It's pretty cool to have that wide of an emotional and spiritual range.

KS: Yeah, I couldn't care less about ratings. I just have to delete the history on my web browser, hahaha. Sounds pathetic, but if it keeps me reading what I want, so be it.

Oh yeah! How could I possibly space out on that!

It's a furry GNIP. Duh. Which makes it all the more unique.
KillerSlime

furries? why didn't you say so! that changes my whole percieved view(hehehe... reiterating...) of the comic!
however, i still see it mostly the way it was for me before... i may want to see what it is in a few days...

The whole anthro perspective is neat. Actually, some artists actually prefer it because of being able to conceal the body structure in all that fur, making it easier to get away with things.

And the head-spikes and ears. Those are kewl. Razz
KillerSlime

well, it actually depends on how anthro you go, how much one can get away with...
i've heard of people staring at 'unpleasant' anthropomorphic pictures. never saw one, only heard about it once from another teenager(who was being innapropriate. then again, people are...) but yeah, anthropomorphic is kinda fun...
