I cant speak for Lisa nor Denester, but I believe they liked each other. I know I truly miss Denester and was upset when he was bounced from the other site because of Coppa regulations. Hopefully one day he'll return one place or another. I'll see if I can get in touch with him and invite him here.

According to Coppa (a set of rules) if someone admits to being under 13 the admin is required to get their parental permission, kinda like a permission slip, to be on a forum. It's why you get asked to make that assurance (that you are 13 or older) when you register for many forums, including this one.
Denester admited to being under 13 and didnt get his parents to send an e-mail permission as far as I am aware, as he never returned after this. He was in a foreign country and perhaps his parents didn't understand the Coppa issue, werent willing or able to send an e-mail or fax (Danny might have been requiring faxes at that point) or maybe he just didnt ask. 
I'm pretty sure by now he's over 13. As I said, I'll see if I can track him down.

It's a protection for both the kid who is under 13 (so their parents know a bit about the websites they visit) and for the site-owner, just in case...

you could... accidentally see something against people's points of view? communicate? the list of things you need to be 13 for is immense. there are just some rules that are only there for some people or situations that cannot be easily found...
