because i had to ping something.
and because she said ping. there was more. i can't remember the limiter term for my macterminal program so it keeps on going on and on and on and on... it will keep pinging, and thus tying up the server forever,
but i only did that because she said ping. and i was bored. and i was working with the Terminal program for other, computer-crashing related things that led to me having to ping something inside and outside of my network.
