Isn't the guest forum kind of self posting because :
1a. Guests can post anything they want. Now in that case, They can post good things, or bad things. 1b. Now the bad type, they can also post cursing and cussing words. Now that would be pretty bad. But here's the thing. When they type that, you don't know who it is. Also, you can't do anything to stop them unless you take away the privilage to post because you can't give warnings or ban them unless they register. 2. They can also post good things. But bad things clutter the forum and board and you have to delete ALL those posts and it is very tiring. Believe me. 2b. They, can also type Denester12, sfrose, thespaceinvader, ect in the username box and pretend they are them. That would be bad. 3. Also, we make a game in here, a guest could join. Then, another guest could come and say that they are the already joined guest. Then we can't figure out if they were really them or not. Most likely not but... 3b. If they post "You can't warn me! Ha ha!" Then you get bugged but you can't do anything accept delete the guest forum. I think you should delete the self guest posting (this) forum. *Tired*

I can answer some of your questions, since sylph's not around right now to do so.
Some people may need to post without joining, like if their account has troubles.
On these forums you can set filters to block cuss words. (which you have to be careful with, BTW, because on one of the forums we blocked a word and replaced it with "rats" (you know, like "drat") but someone posted the words "I love scarpbooking" and it came out with "I love rats")
Well, let's not put games in here. If we do, just make a game where you don't have to join.

Because I began the thread with a guest, then deleted the guest's post, but not the thread. Confusing, I know. But I was testing things out before the forum went live. Alas poor guest, we hardly knew thee. Oh yes, and fear not the open forum. Mighty trackers are we. We too have the power to get their ip if ever trouble arose and could ban those who abused the freedom that is A completely Open Forum! |

Um, I know this isn't the best place to post this, but I seriously messed up my account. I was changing my profile, and I changed my old e-mail address, (which no longer works for some random reason), and thought I put in my new one. My new email is Jazzy0592@yahoo.com, but instead of typing Jazzy0592@yahoo.com, I typed Jazzy713@yahoo.com. And because I changed my email, my account is no longer active, and in order to activate it, I have to click the link in my email. And because I put in the wrong email, I can't do that, so if someone could help me out, I'd appreciate it.
