DeviantARTI made a DeviantART page to display my comparitively mediocre work... i share louie's perspective almost exactly. i'm not an artist(can't draw to save my art) and don't have a scanner, but there are alot of deviantartists who i respect and whose art i adore. |

lol... i can draw almost every kind of eye imaginable because it's the only thing i can draw... anime eyes, snake eyes, human eyes, you name it i've tried it. and dragons i can sorta draw, but very rarely do they come out the way i want them too. |

yeah... i've never been good at any kind of drawing but shaded ones. i can shade spheres and trees and things, but no people and nothing far too complex. the drawings come out mediocre but recognizable.
then again, my brother is taking up pixel art... i might give it a spin or two over the summer, see if i can do it. after all, it's just a few jumps beond the graphics editing i've been practicing so far... |

If you want to try out pixel art, I suggest using good ol' MS Paint, setting the image's attributes to 100x100 pixels or less, and zooming up to 8x to go pixel by pixel.
Speaking of drawing eyes, I remember this one girl when school was in that was working on that for a few weeks. We only shared geometry, but there were always anime eyes all over her class by the period's end. Hahaha, she's a weird kid. Not for that, but she is. |
