Theme

This Seasons theme is cartoons.

Each player will picks a cartoon character to play as. No other characters will be allowed. However, any cartoon character is allowed: be they from a console/video/computer game, comicbook, a children's book, a tv show, a movie, a commercial, etc.

Examples: The Jolly Green Giant, Princess Toadstool, Yugi, The Grinch, Scooby Doo, Rogger Rabbit, etc).

Roles

Since this is the first season I am gonna keep it simple. There will be Mafia, Angel(s), and an Inspector.

Night 1

Toontown has had its fill of drama. I could tell ya tales that would make your hair curl, your ears flap up and down wildly and your eyes spin in your head. There was that time that Marvin Acme was killed and Roger got framed for it, but that's another story for another time. The good news is that the Toons still own Toontown. The bad news? Well...

Last night Eddie Valiant , Toontowns private Investigator, got word that the Mafia was making another move on Toontown. Since Smartass, Greasy, Stupid and Wheezy were all serving time and Judge Doom was killed, this meant it had to be Psycho! Of course Psycho's got a few new moves and has become the Mafia boss since Doom's demise. And, one of those moves is assuming the indentity of others. Eddie figured his best bet was to fight fire with fire, but lacking a large match stick he decided to assumed the identity of one of Toontowns other residents instead.

So now no one knows who Eddie might be nor Psycho. I dont know if this was such a hot idea of Eddie's but he swears it'll work out. He says theres an Angel about, a toon with the power to save someone's life each night. I asked Tinkerbell if it was her, but she just looked at me and giggled. Silly fairies! But anyways...

Apparently, the Angel, the Invesigator and the Mafia were busy last night. I dont know who the Investigator asked about nor who the Angel saved, but it was obviously the wrong person!

The Kill

Aslan was camping out away from the pavilion, without Pete, Susan and Lucy. Suddenly Aslan was awaken by a Satyr who jumped up on a hickory stump, began playing his pan flute and playin it well.

Now I've cringed at Zamphir and his pan flutistry several times mysylph, but this was no ordinary song and this was no ordinary Satyr. The shear horror of a pun that is a Satyr playing the Bay City Rollers' Saturday Night might be enough to kill most toons and people alike, but Aslan was no tame lion and had survived much worse. This Satyr was in fact the Mafia! Aslan, only half awake, never stood a chance.

We've sent his body back to Narnia where one day he may rise again, but for now Aslan is no more. Since the toons own Toontown, it is their decision what to do. I've called them all to a town meeting to discuss the mater and possibly punish whom they think is guilty.

Watching the recent procedings, I suspect that one of either Goomba or foamy could carry a key role...

Foamy did post first and agressively, but he just suggested someone and didn't throw out a solid case against Kenny

goomba, meanwhile, came out agressively and has jumped discussion and voted foamy, with very little reasoning nor discussion...

Yes, I know this style of Mafia can be confusing.
Until the Host requests an accusation, everything is just discussion.
Once an accusation is made, seconded and the accused afforded a chance to defend themsylphs, then everyone votes on that 1 person's guilt or innocence.

Foamy - I'm gonna say you officially accused Kenny
TDP Robert's - Did definately second that accusation.
Kenny - Has had a chance to defend himsylph.

Lisa is excused in this case because it's a fameous line. the word wasn't that bad and because it was darned funny!

But that means one thing...

Kenny is dead and it's night time.

Day 1

Toontown, figuring there was no way to kill Kenny that hadn't been done before, chose the most cruel and effective manner to dispatch him: They wrote him out of the script! (You bastards!) Only later realizing he was an innocent civilian.

Night 2

Eddie was running into nothing but dead ends, litterally and it was painful. His disguise wasn't really helping him come any closer to the truth and it certianly didn't improve his depth persepction. The fact that lots of dead ends in Toontown are painted to look like streets that continue on wasn't helping either and neither was Psycho. "You're gonna havta mess up one of these times, Pysho! And, when you do, I'll be there," the Investtogator said to himsylph, wandering off into the night and towards his next suspect.

Meanwhile, at the Moon Hits Your Eye, a Chain Italian Restaurant, Psycho's next plan was coming together flawlessly. Foamy had just finished a plate of his favourvite carb-heavy, non-fat-kins, fetuccini alfredo with pinenuts when it was time for desert, a nice waffle sundae...

The Kill

The waitress, whom had avoided chit chat and asking him how the meal was, much to Foamy's pleasure, returned with all the rest of the waiting staff. Descretely Psycho had slipped a message to them declaring that is was Foamy's Birthday while he was busily ranting about Star Smocks coffee sizes. In fact, he was so intent upon his rant that he didnt notice the waitstaff until they were nearly upon him.

"What? You better not be planning what I think you are planning," Foamy shouted at the waitstaff while grabbing his eatting utensils and jumping up on the table...

But onward they pressed and began singing a hideously contrived version of Happy Birthday. Brandishing his silverware in the symbol of the cross Foamy spat, "Not only is it not my Birthday, but you are not getting a tip! You hear me? No tip!"

But onward they pressed, still half-heartedly singing their version of Happy Birthday out of key. Realizing that the threat of 'no tip' was not having an impact on these food serving zombies, Foamy began swinging his arms around wildly and screaming, "I will mame and or disembowel anyone that gets any closer!"

But onward they pressed and disemboweled them he did. When the police arrived, they didnt stop to hear his tale of threatenning blazing cake armed people coming right for him nor how our freedoms are slowly being erroded by... Well, as I said, they didn't listen. They just took him out, figuring he was a rabid squirrel.

With his dying breath Foamy muttered, "See, this is what I get for trying to help other people. I should have saved mysylph! I knew it. I knew I was in trouble. But did I listen? No! I," and then he died.

Well... here's my thinking so far...

1) I am not the mafia

2) This is our last chance to catch whomever is mafia

3) I have huge distrust of Link because the silence last round... probably avoiding saying anything that could be incriminating, his vote wasn't needed, but he contributed nothing to the discussion

4) Jessica Rabbit, I think I trust

5) Mickey Mouse I don't know on either, we just talked so little last round

6) I can fence even better with my right hand

Simple... first of all it slows down the game and second of all since the Mafia doesn't leave footsteps online, it's a cheesy way for the mafia to win out... don't say anything, don't incriminate yourself... and the only way you'll likely end up dead is if there's a random stab in the dark

Now while things can occur for it to be unavoidable and coincidental... it's more those who still are logging into the forums, posting elsewhere but ignoring (as far as we can tell) Mafia that are the issue... (*this is as far as I will go before I rant about why we put in mandatory voting at I-forum's Mafia game)

Just remember, the nails that stick up are the ones that get hammered down (see foamy and Kenny)... unless we're proactive in removing those who choose not to speak...

actually, reverse psychology works just as well. if you are advant in the game, without being too accusatory, yet subtly implying your own innocence, you can make it so that you can be assumed innocent. this can be whether you are or not.

By default the Civilians win, striking down the Dread Pirate Robert's when his accidental Buttercup fails to save him and doom hersylph.

That's right Robert's was the Mafia.
Not exactly a glamorous win for the civilians and if Jessica hadn't been delayed by work it seems it would have been a loss.

The Mafia is demanding a recount. But much like dangling chads in Florida, done cannot be undone even when it may not have been flawwed.

hah! i've finally got you, Psycho! *disguize removal* sad about the three lost innocents... but on the bright side, two other innocents survived! and we finally got Psycho! *shudder* death by birthday procession... he was really, really cruel with the killing. i would have been relentless in pirate hunting, anyway. not that i had anything against pirates, but as soon as i found out about the identity i started trying to vote against Roberts... though it was a really close game. if we had convicted the mouse(NOT happening, me+mikey would have voted innocent) or me(much more plausable, there were not a certain 2 people voting innocent) then we would have lost. otherwise, we would have had one final conviction attempt, and just hoped that the votes would go against the Pirate. but, yay for a game well played by all! what's the next game's theme, i wonder!
being Eddie was fun, even if i missed a few days.
