Match 1
Our first match it was between the Killer Slime and the bye.
The bye was not up to the challenge of facing the number 1 seed
and was crushed by Killer Slime's tails call.
Killer Slime won! (1)(Tails)

Match 2
Our second match was a tough battle between two hardened foes!
Foamy attempted to pull off a head butt,
but in a stunning reversal was headed by the number 2 seed Austonst!
Austonst wins! Austonst won! (2)(Heads)

Match 3
Fishyfriends head's call seemed destined to defeat the sylph-proclaimed
'people's champion' and underdog 37 flavours in a row.
However, in a daring move 37 grabbed ahold of his head,
landed Fishy on his tail and pulled off a stunning upset!
Holy Cow, 37 flavours in a row wins, 37 wins! (6)(Tails)

Match 4
Our top card match promised to be the event of the evening
when the 4th and 5th seeded players met in a no holds barred cage flip.
Back and forth this battle went, the coin bouncing off the cage and even
rolling under a piece of furniture. Lisa and Goombapatrol054
stood in the cage after the match, both certian they had won.
It was only when the ref finally raised the victors hand that anyone knew
Lisa was the winnah (5)(Tails)

i trust the little fox that looks like a hybrid between a normal fox, a kitsune, a furry, and a kyuubi. same choice! also, that hybrid is not a bad thing. he stands up straight, has more than one tail, is pretty smart, and has normal fox markings! yay for Tails!

'We' apologize for the delay, but it was due to some technical difficulties on the part of our human host. Can we take that thing in and get it repaired? No?

Well, this promises to be an exciting match. 37 Flavours in a row is our cinderella story of this season and veritable David, the lowest ranked player still in it and Killer Slime is our Goliath, with the highest ranking! It would seem that destiny is on 37's side, but we cannot discount the #1 seed. Let's go live to the floor.

We're here live at the floor. It is carpeted and freshly vacumed. It should prove to be a very safe surface for tonights Semi-Final, with little to no bounce. Wait, I am getting word that the coin is about to be flipped...

In just a few short hours, the Semi-Final match between Austonst and Lisa will take place! The winner of tonight's match goes onto face Killer Slime in the championship, so a lot is riding on this one flip. What can you tell us about tonight's venue?

Tonight we are coming to you live from the Dining Room Table. It's a rough field to play in, let me tell you. Coins can often bounce off of the table and unto the floor, thus being ruled out of play. Besides that, there's mail to watch out for, the center piece of fresh flowers, and of course the cats!

Cats?

Yes, that's right cats. Though the officials have tried to keep this field clear, it seems that when coins hit the table cats become interested in them, which strangely doesnt occur on the carpet.

Wow, that's a lot to watch out for. Do you think its because coins make noise when they hit the table?

Perhaps, I hadn't really considered that.

Welcome to the first ever (here) Coin Flipping Finals.

Entering the ring,
in the very black trunks,
with green, purple and yellow trim,
currently Trapped in Tank5,
representing the coin side of Heads,
and the second seeded flipper in the forum...

Austonst 'the Neon Seeeaaa Hooooorse!'

And now entering the ring,
in the slime green trunks,
with digesting cake trim,
currently a Future Agoraphobe,
and flipping for the fine side of Tails,
the undisputed number one seeded flipper
in the entire forum...

'The Killa' KillerSliiiiiiiiiiiime!

Flippers, please come to the center of the ring
for the preflip instructions.

Ok flippers, I want clean flips.
the three flip rule is in effect,
and this is a three round contest.
I want no rabbit flipping,
and no flipping below the table.

and when the bell rings come out flipping.

Round 1:

Austonst comes out quick and fresh, jabbing to the head of Killerslime and then to the body. Killa misses with a right and then...

Biff Boom PAD!
Killerslime catches the two seed with a surprise left hook. The Neon Seahorse goes down hard!
1....2...3...

Austonst makes it back to his feet amazingly! He get's on his 'horse' and starts dancing around the ring, making himsylph a very difficult target for Killa.

Killer manages yet another blow to Austonst as the bell sounds and ends the round.

After Round 1 the Score Is:
KillerSlime: 1 (Tails)
Austonst: 0 (Heads)

After a beating like that I hope the Neon Seahorse can make it thru another round, but his manager says he's lean and mean and hasn't yet begun to fight. KillerSlimes corner looks happy, seems their game plan for Round 1 worked to perfection.

Round 2:

Bobbing and weaving, Austonst is still stinging from Killa's blow from round 1. Killer is persuing, throwing hard punches but none of the are landing on Austonst head. Killer still stays on his tail though.

Biff Boom PAD!
Killerslime unleases a solid combination. The Neon Seahorse shrugs off the blows and unleases a mad barage of counter blows to the body...

Thud, Whack, BOOF!
Killer is losing balance, looks like he's gonna land on his tail...
A Sweaping left blow by KillerSlime pushes Austonst back. But he wont be detered now, he has the one seed on the ropes, with a right, another right, a left to the head..

Killa looks lost!
The ref gives him a standing eight count
1.... 2... 3... 4.... 5...
KillerSlime shakes his tail and clears his head.

Austonst its relentles! He keeps coming after the top seed, but he cant knock him out. The bell rings

After Two Rounds the Score Is:
KillerSlime: 1 (Tails)
Austonst: 1 (Heads)

Round three is going to be the deciding round!
The question is, do these two foes still have any flipping left in them.
We'll find out, tommorrow!

blargh! i posted that last post too late at night... it's "may the way of the hero lead to the triforce"... whatever. i hope that it's a fair final match! i have never been one to box on a coin.

Austonst charges from his corner and resumes pounding the Killa,
until Killa breaks out the old foreign object while the refs back is turned:
A move much seen in wrestling, but kinda rare in a boxing match.
The foreign object being the triforce, well, not exactly THE triforce,
but a little plastic version of it.

Stunned Austonst just stares at him waiting to see what he's going to do
with this little plastic triangle. KillerSlime wings it at him and hits Austonst
squarely, erm, triangularly in his head.

THWACK!

Austonst goes down!

1...2...3...4...5...

Austonst is back up and protesting to the ref, who turns to deduct a point from the Killa. Not one to be outdone, while the ref and Killa are bickering, Austonst picks up a flaming chair and...

CRACK!

The Ref and KillerSlime are both down!

1...2...3...4...5...6...7...8...

A coin falls out of the Ref's Pocket

...9...10!

And comes up Heads!

DING DING DING

The Winna' by split decision and the use of a really hot seat...

The ref awakens and hands him the Coin Flipping Championship Belt.

I'm so excited! I'm, well, not exactly speechless, but you know what I mean. I'm so glad to have made it this far. I'd like to thank ~Sylph~ for making this forum and hosting this wonderful game. I'd also like to thank Heads, for guiding me to victory the whole way hrough. Third, I'd like to thank KillerSlime for being such a nice opponent (if not a bit cheaterful at times).

aaaaagaggaagagagag!!!!@!! my hair!@!! it is on fire! allong with the rest of me! if the charred ref would regain bodily fluids and conciousness he would declare a fowl. it's not like i wanted the triforce out.... it was a good luck charm! besides, the real triforce would be stuck in my hand if at all.
so, does this put me first in the hot seat? or should i say under it?

Previous Champions have been allowed to play in tournements of this kind elsewhere.

I can see no reason to exclude them here. Luck is a fickle thing and has yet to favour the same person twice (in this game). Who knows though, you could be the first back to back champ.
