[sugoi... your character is amazing.]
Kyo tried desperately to think of something to do. but thinking has never been his... forté. in the end, he just jump-kicked one of the guards, and tussled with them for a while. beating them up was better than nothing, and one could easily jump from guard to guard off their armor until they drew their weapons. which would happen fast. then he just fought them on the ground... [Xaenai saw this, i'm preassuming, and probably headed twoards it, right?] _________________ "All matter is attracted to all other matter. [Tanke to the sugoi coment. ^_^ On another note, I almost had Idaur have a scabbard... but he's a general of the awesome kind.]
After tumbling down the stone spiral stairway for a moment, Idaur righted himself on his knees and spit out the blood caused by the rock shrapnel. "So 'mander, you know a few tricks. But let's settle this like men. Or lizards." This comment was ment to offend, and it apparently did.
Kaz looked downwards from the top of the stairs with a furrowed brow, "What are you talking about?" As soon as he said this, Idaur dropped his two weapons (which he had managed to hold on to this whole time) down the center of the stairwell. After a few seconds a couple clinks and clangs were audible as the metal hit the bottom. Obviously Idaur cared less about his swords and knives a lot less than Kaz, but he complied knowing that nobody else was in the tower. He dropped his sword to the bottom as well.
The general smirked in the dim light entering the darkness from above. There was a small wait, neither of them making the first move. Finally Kaz kicked a sizable rock down at Idaur roughly the size of a child's ball and jumped down with a flying kick. Idaur side-stepped the stone, it bouncing off down the well, and caught Kaz's leg to throw him downwards. He tumbled a bit and skidded to a halt on the grain and rubble on the steps and jumped back up towards Idaur. As he neared, he kicked off the wall to the opposing stairs and then pushed off straight downwards to meet the general in the gut with his foot. The foot slid him down to sit on the stairs, where Kaz boosted his other foot from an above stair to side-kick his opponent square in the side of his head.
The general was now a bit winded as well as dazed. Kaz hopped backwards to an above stair and pushed Idaur down into the darkness. There was a moment of silence as Idaur got up and regained his composure. He raised his fists. "That the best you got, lizard?" They both ran towards each other and Idaur jumped up to punch Kaz. He blocked and pushed Idaur down again, skidding along the wall with his feet to remain standing up. Kaz continued running down, and as he did, Idaur pulled a dagger from behind him and lunged. It went straight along side Kaz's head as he leaned backwards and slid on some rubble. Idaur took this opportunity to jump-stomp him while he was airborn.
Kaz felt the pressure of his opponent's foot, and then the air rushing past him as he fell down the center of the stairwell. Luckily the walls tapered out so he didn't hit any stairs. He finally hit the bottom, and again luck was on his side as the swords had landed on a few stairs above him. Idaur landed there to sheath his dagger and picked up his longer one. "Give up?"
Kaz took a breath and looked up. Idaur now noticed where Kaz's hand was... open and an inch away from his foot. The salamander smirked and said, "Not yet," and power-pulled Idaur and flung him through the wooden door next to his head, smashing it outwards into the pandemonium and sending the general rolling along the damp stonework. Kaz righted himself and picked up the masamune above, noticing its excellent craftmanship. "I wonder what poor gnome this was stolen from." He threw it out to Idaur, who layed there groaning as soldiers behind him drew their swords. Kaz then retrieved Ko Kasai and stepped outside. _________________ ^^^|_337^^^

[very nice writting koz!]
Reevengaofar flew in a cork screw fashion up and around the outside of the second tower which served as the gate house. Carefully she avoided the thin slits of windows for fear of the archers that may lie in wait on the other side of them. As she flew she readied her bow to take out any soldiers she might encounter when she reached the top. When she did, she was able to make short work of the four archers distracted by the turmoil coming both from below and from the adjacent tower.
The trap door into the gate house was easily found and not even locked. Reev shook her head at how ill-prepared Mytavia was for an aerial assault, though she supposed dragons wouldn’t bother with using trap doors. Retracting her wings and dressing her cloak back down, she tried to figure out a way she could open the door and still fire her bow but, shy of growing a third arm, she decided it was impossible.
Anyone watching her would have thought Reev was surrendering to some invisible foe as she raised her arms out and skyward, but thankfully no one was. Drawing as much power as she could from the sky, she prepared the only powerful close-range weapon she had until her whole body tingled with the electricity flowing thru her. She flung open the trap door and slid down its ladder with her hands and feet on the outside of the rails.
Her eyes didn’t adjust quickly to the change in light and so it was like sliding into darkness. She thought better of her hasty entrance a little too late and received a sharp blow to the back of her head for her troubles, knocking her face first into one of the rungs of the ladder. The stars and static she had been seeing from the change in lighting were joined and doubled by the two blows to her head. Blindly firing with her left hand over her right shoulder she let loose a powerful blast of lightning which lit the gatehouse for a second and then returned it again to darkness. What little adjusting her eyes had managed was erased by this flash of light.
Still unable to see she dropped and rolled along the floor trying to avoid the next blow. She managed to roll right into the crank for lifting the gate and hit her head yet again, this time on the right side. Fortunately for the sylph her bolt of electricity had not only hit its mark, but had been strong enough to leap from guard to guard, knocking out three of them and killing two. As she lay there, trying her best to assume a defensive position while shaking the cobwebs from her head, the room finally came into focus and she was able to see her handy work. _________________ ~Sylph~

[Thanks! I feel really bad for Reev now... she has a bump on every side of her head except the left. The day's still young though, right?
Oh wait, I'll let some more people post first.] _________________ ^^^|_337^^^

[wow. i had a post, but aparently it didn't register. ah well, que sera sera and all that...]
Kyo was thouroughly amazed by the various large noizes and flashy explosions that were happening at the gate, but couln't really watch as he was too busy ripping the helmet off of a (now) unconcious guard and throwing it at the face of another one coming close. jeez, where does he get these guys? they fight worse than rocks, and rocks can't punch people. and whoever armed these thugs is obviously a stupid idiot. the weapons would do better fighting in a heap than in the hands of these people. he thought, while disarming the downed soldier and taking his weapons. weapons, in Kyo's oppinion, were for pointing at people, damaging them was just a second benifit. if someone sees you've got a dagger at their throat, then the'll be alot more willing to admit defeat than someone with a dagger IN their throat.
as Xaenai caught up with where Kyo was, and a guard fell quickly forward announcing her presence, he said "what kept you? more than half are already gone." too busy fighting to notice Xae's own problem trying to catch up. _________________ "All matter is attracted to all other matter. Reev's head throbed from the blows. It frustrated her how often graceless she was in confined spaces compared to her normal deftness out in the open or in the air. It was part of why she hated confined spaces. But, she didnt have time to bemoan her headaches or mistakes, she simply wanted to accomplish what she needed to quickly and get out. Her eyes now adjusted, she cranked as fast as she could on the wheel to raise the gate enough for Xae and Kyo to escape. When she felt she had raised it at least four feet she windedly walked towards one of the slit windows, kicking a waking gaurd in the head as she went, knocking him unconscious again.
When she peered out the window the gate had been raised only one foot, probably not high enough for Kyo to escape, who was still knocking soldiers senseless, but maybe Xae whom she could not see from this vantage point.
Annoyed she returned to the wheel and began cranking it, feeling her arms twinging as the locking mechanism clicked off her progress. She was actually glad when she heard another gaurd rousing and had to go kick that one in the head. "I should of flown that darned fighter up here to turn this wheel," she sighed aloud to no one in particular as she cranked on the wheel some more. "I'm no puppy, ha! Well I'm no pack mule," she thought to hersylph, finding arguing with Kyo in her mind made the task more bareable. Still wishing this task upon him instead of hersylph. When that stopped working she switched to Kaz. _________________ ~Sylph~

Kyo noticed the two-foot opening. that gate was opening slowly. rushing twoards it, punching another soldier in the side where his armor didn't cover, and kicking yet another in the face, for the fun of it, he grabs two crosswise bars and slides under. he then waits there for persuers, who would be voulnerable when they're coming through. heh. bet i coulda moved it twice as fast as that frail sylph. it's not something you can zap to death and it'll all be fine or anything! _________________ "All matter is attracted to all other matter. [holy quacamolie]
Xae followed Kyo after some difficulties with a group of guards. Easily sliding under the slowly rising gate, she kicked a soldier stupid enough to put his face first. "So," she said to Kyo, examining a wound in her left hand. "Know anything 'bout healing?"
