not to be mean, but where have you been the past decade? once again, not to be rude. they bought it a while ago, before they were in turn bought and then all their stores clozed and they went to go redo third edition and all sorts of other things that should not have been done in my oppinion. _________________ "All matter is attracted to all other matter. In 1997 TSR was purchased by Wizards of the Coast, who in turn eventually turned the license into an open license after the 3rd Edition. _________________ ~Sylph~

Still, it does seem like fun! |
believe me, getting started and learning the system is the hardest part. i use a pre-made simplified official version to start those not ready to read about all they need; it dictates the first few things, then the dungeons grow, and eventually your players should be ready to start learning the full system. also a good way to induct DMs. after you all know the system, it will be fun!

you really played at a high starter level, didn't you? i once tried to do a half-dragon character, that did not work out well, but because of the campaign. the character sounded fairly neat.
