Yes, these sorts of witch hunts always scare me.

There's lots of really hardcore game modders out there (pun not intended) that put a lot of rime and energy into altering a game they love to the point that its often an entirely new game. I think it's great that there are games created that are open to modification. The more witch hunts like this occur the more likely it is that games will become harder to modify. Game fans every where will lose out if this happens.

The Sims in particular is really enhanced by the different skins and items that regular players make for the game. EA knows this and knows their game is enhanced by it as is the joy of it's players. Holding them responsible for when some Mad

modifies it in a way which is not teen friendly is ridiculous.

It's a shame that legislaters and appointed officials are not gamers and have no understanding of these things. However, what they should understand what art is and they do not. Good games are a form of art, not a weapon. These games are not cheap guns made intentionally to be modified into automatic weapons in order to circumvent the law. These are games people. Even when not art, they are still toys. Should playdoh be sued if I sculpted something inappropriate out of it? No!

I am pretty sure I have ranted about this before...
Oh well, even if so, it deserves another. {/rant}

and he sould relize what he does dosnt matter for example gta san andras's was changed from m to Ao so rockstar rerelised it with out the coffe hack witch means...they got free publisaty and nothing really happened.
and tom is a fundamentalist christon and 80! he most likly thinks all tecnolagy is "evil"! Unsure

you do not get bad things for making a jpeg, even if there are people who make innapropriate jpegs. your immage editing is still allowed. why not sneak in a disclaimer that some people do innapropriate (for some people) skins and say to use discression when downloading them?

if you have 20-30 bucks laying around you should pick one up. universaty isnt a fun as nightlife i havent played ofb so i cant say there. and family fun stuff is just a stuff pack. Sad
