I'm looking for the few, the proud, the oft present, the kind
and most importantly the fair and balanced...
(Lisa, Lisa, where for art thou Lisa?) ...To help us run this place.

In other words, the call is going out for Moderators and Content Adders. Come forth, bear fruit (or any other tasty product brought to us by a different animal as I am not sure what bears have to do with fruit anyways) and multiply (or more complex algorithms). What’s a Content Adder? Well everyone that posts is one but what I mean specifically is posters who wish to run and nurture new games, new topic specific forums, etc.

So what’s in it for you?
Well besides what always truly was (namely that this forum is my namesake but in all reality yours - everyone of you that posts here or even lurks) its your chance to take the wheel and steer (or is that stear) us in directions you'd like to see us go (not that you don’t already in passive ways, but I mean a more direct way - like say adding a forum thru the admin controls).

Also, it means if life knocks me out, locks me in a galaxy far far away and doesn't let me out for a long long time that this place need not fizzle out. It could move forward, onward, upwards, etc. Why? Because there'd be others that could and would water the flowers and mow the lawn so people wouldn't wander past thinking the site is abandoned (which I did for a bit Sad

So where do I apply?
Well if you are the "shy, behind the scenes" type then PM me. If you are the "bold, public, sylph-starter" type then I am sure you could come up with another way without much prompting from me. If you are the "confused, I have no idea what you are talking about in any of this message" type then hmmm, I'll come up with something better for ya soon.

Woot! Lots of replies (considering our size). Everyone wants to moderate but no one want to content add (that which is most needed) Very Sad

The division is as such:

1) I'll need someone with significant maturity and little specific interest (so they dont find themsylphs ignoring parts of the forum) to be a back up for me with global site access. I have someone in mind for this who might find it in themsylphs to add content with those kinds of powers in ways they otherwise dont. Very Cool

2) 1-2 people to Moderate the Discussion Forums. Agreeable

3) One to Moderate the RPG forum (I also have someone in mind for this). Idea

4) 1-2 people to Moderate the Games Forums. Agreeable

I'll be PM-ing those I have an idea would do well in the two roles I believe I have found the best matches for. For numbers 2 and 4, those that have PM-ed me please PM me again with which of the 2 (2 or 4) you'd be more excited to moderate.

Well...

Sans PM-ed messages the forums have been divided and hopefully concurred.
In many occasions I assigned at random so hopefully that answers:
“Why was/wasn’t I put on this forum?”

But simply put, this forum is no longer a one ~Sylph~ show because many of yoursylphs are now able to run it when mysylph is preoccupied.
